Members can register ‘on-line’ by email to the secretary of nrasc.org prior to commencing their swimming season.
Fees
NSW Swimming has redesigned their Membership structure with the main change being that the former “Adult Category” has been split into two:
- “Race Swimmer” – able to swim in all competitions throughout NSW
- “Club Swimmer” ONLY eligible to swim at club meets (i.e. NRASC)
Therefore the NRASC Fees have been set for the 2024-25 season at:
“Race Swimmer (Full)” $150.00 per member – (able to swim in all competitions throughout NSW)
“Club Swimmer” NRASC $125.00 per member – (ONLY swim at our NRASC meets)
“Recreational Swimmer” $75.00 per member
“NSW Associate” (Life) Member $55.00 per member
“NRASC Associate” Non-swimmer Member $55.00 per member
- “Second Claim” swimmer $40.00 per member
Fees to be paid by EFT in to the NRASC Club’s account.

NSW Swimming Profile
New members will need to have a profile created. Contact the NRASC’s Secretary to arrange this profile.
The Club highly recommends that you pay your fees direct to NRASC and we will then pay NSW swimming their portion, so we know you are financial and therefore eligible to swim with NRASC.

Eligibility
All members, and non-members who have previously swum with NRASC, will have been deemed to have completed their trial period, and therefore must join prior to their first swim.
Members must be registered and financial members prior to commencing swimming.
New members may be allowed a two week trial period before being obliged to join NRASC.
Entry fees
The Entry Fee is $10 per adult (members and non-members). Children are exempt.
This fee will be reviewed during the season.
Working with Children
It is a legal requirement that all adult members and volunteers have a current “Working with Children” Certificate, so please ensure that your certificate is up-to-date and forward a copy of any changes to the secretary for his records.
Please note: fines apply both to the member and the club if we are not able to provide a copy.
You will not be able to participate in the Club activities on Sunday morning meets unless the Club holds a copy of your current Working with Children Certificate.
Competition Strategy Policy – updated
Swimming NSW has updated the Competition Strategy Policy to improve its clarity, giving “Clear description of the competitions and pathways for all athletes” amongst the most important points.

National Integrity Framework (NIF)
The NIF is a set of rules that all members of our sport need to follow when it comes to their behaviour and conduct in swimming, including obligations to report misconduct.

Swimming National Integrity Framework
Swimming Australia’s National Integrity Framework applies to all Activities organised or authorised by Swimming Australia or a Member Organisation.
What Is Sport Integrity?
Integrity in sport means that athletes, supporters and fans can participate and celebrate sport, confident in the knowledge that they are part of a safe, ethical and inclusive environment.
Any threats to the integrity of sport (such as competition-manipulation, doping, and behaviours that impact people’s positive experience of sport, such as discrimination or abuse) are taken seriously by Swimming Australia.
